The value of a teacher in the development of the younger generation is undeniable. And every year this truth becomes more and more obvious. Every year teachers find more and more recognition of their work among the people. And this is happening internationally. How many international competitions are held among teachers to encourage their work and to motivate them!
A teacher is a person who does not stop at the achieved knowledge. People of this profession are always in search of new things, always striving for self-improvement. And participation in various events and competitions is just one of the ways to express themselves, share their experience and at the same time learn something for themselves and get something new from others moving with the times.
There is a wonderful competition for teachers – the National competition “Teacher – 2021”. It is organized with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and is held in partnership with the international Varkey Foundation. “Teacher – 2021” takes place in three stages and gathers teachers from all over Uzbekistan to participate. The nominations in the competition are not based on subjects, but on different aspects of teaching. The necessary conditions for participants are active extracurricular activities, participation in various subject events, teaching achievements, the use of new teaching methods and the presence of teaching qualities. This competition is held in order to encourage creative, advanced teaching activities, full dedication to the work of teachers, to reveal their professional talent and creative sides, to motivate them to look for and use new, interesting and effective methods in teaching.
Varkey Foundation annually holds another international teacher competition “Global Teacher Prize” with a prize fund of $ 1 million. The winners of the Teacher – 2021 award will be nominated for “Global Teacher Prize – 2022” international award in order to recognize the importance of the teaching profession and their efforts to help children during the pandemic.
Our math and computer science teacher Muyassar Makhmudzhanovna decided to take part in the national competition “Teacher-2021”. She actively conducts extracurricular activities, actively uses the latest technologies and methods in teaching, prepares children for various international events, many of her students have merits in the international field (contests and Olympiads). Two stages are already over, the final one remains. And we congratulate her on the successfully completed stages and wish her to successfully pass the third round!
