As you know, “Istiqbol zamon bolalari” is not limited to the school alone. We have several branches where there are both kindergarten groups and elementary classes. Recently, in one of these branches, the 4th “G” form with the class teacher, Tulanova Marina Valentinovna, gave demonstrative lesson related to the history of our Motherland.
The lesson was called “The Great Ancestors of our Motherland” and touched upon two great historical figures who made a huge contribution to the history of Uzbekistan. They are Amir Temur and Alisher Navoi.
The format of the lesson was very interesting and different from the usual lesson. The class was divided into two groups in advance, each group received its homework. They prepared for the lesson diligently, responsibly, creatively and with interest. One of the groups was preparing information about the great commander Amir Temur. The pupils covered his biography, life path and remembered quotes and aphorisms said by the great conqueror. Another group was preparing information about the famous poet, philosopher and statesman Alisher Navoi. They told about his biography, works, quotations and contribution to literature. The children searched for this information in advance, wrote essays and simultaneously getting acquainted with the activities of great people in order to share their knowledge with each other in the lesson. National costumes were prepared for the lesson, in which the children performed. It is very important to note the independence of students. They prepared everything for the lesson themselves: they printed out photos of great figures, prepared a dance and also treated the guests with gifts of autumn. Everyone received a task from the captain of their team and completed it. And they also showed a program called “Journalist” from a self-made TV. The program was in both Russian and Uzbek languages. The format of the lesson, the information and the tasks were very interesting. The pupils tried and did everything very well and got a lot of pleasure from what was happening. And this lesson also made them understand how important it is to remember the past of the people, their history and great people who made a huge contribution to the future for their descendants. After all, this is how remembering and talking about our great ancestors we support the memory of them in history.
