The zoo is a place that both children and adults are happy to visit. It’s no secret that visiting the zoo is a great pastime with children, especially younger ones. How great it is when there is an opportunity to show a child live different birds and animals, which he sees in ordinary life only if he sees them in books and on TV! And in the zoo, a child can not only look at the representative of the fauna itself, but also hear it, observe its habits, see what conditions it lives in (now in zoos, conditions for animals are trying to bring as close as possible to natural ones), and some of them can even be fed and petted. Children love animals very much and get great pleasure and joy watching them. The zoo is also a great opportunity to bring a child closer to nature, teach careful attitude to animals and show that they can and should be taken care of.
That is why IZB also organized a wonderful trip to the Andijan Zoo for our primary school pupils. The zoo was opened in 2019, it has about a hundred species of wild animals, birds and various fish. There are even small sharks. Ornamental trees and flowers are planted in the park, which makes the park even closer to the natural environment of exotic animals and birds.
The children got an indescribable delight when they saw live African lions with their red manes, big brown bears, funny monkeys, wolves and foxes, jackals, gazelles, zebras and many others. The zoo has wide enclosures for ostriches, golden eagles, hawks and swans. Words cannot convey the emotions with which the children watched the animals. They were able to run and play in man-made caves, and also to ride the attractions that are located right on the territory of the zoo.
