League of Private Schools 2021

27.04.2021

IZB school boys are very fond of sports, in particular, football. Therefore, every opportunity is created at school to nurture their interest and talents. Not only can the students enjoy themselves joining after-class sports clubs, but they also take part in various competitions and championships with great pleasure.

On April 24-25, 2021, a football tournament among private schools “League of Private Schools 2021” was held in Tashkent. 45 teams from 12 schools took part in the tournament where almost fifty schoolchildren from several private schools in our country competed for the main trophy. Participation in the “League of Private Schools” is not only a significant event but also a great responsibility where the participants defend the honor of the school.

Our athletes demonstrated excellent physical preparation – top-ranked teams with the best players had been selected, football jerseys with the school’s logo were custom-made football, the boys had intensive training before the tournament. Our school teams left for the tournament determined to succeed.

School IZB was represented by two teams: a team of 5-6 graders and a team of 7-8 graders. The teams played 3 matches against worthy opponents from the schools “Leader”, “Erudite” and “Sehriyo” and ranked 4th in the tournament. The participants of the tournament were awarded certificates, medals, gifts, and cups.

This event made a huge impression on the children. A large-scale tournament with opening, closing, and awarding ceremonies, a new location, fifty young football players, a stadium packed with fans, journalists, photographers, and reporters – the boys experienced unforgettable moments. Upon their return, the players were warmly welcomed by a support group of parents, classmates, and teachers.

What is special about this event? No such an event had been held before. Among the participants of the tournament organized by the Football School Junior were representatives from other private schools in Tashkent, Chirchik (Tashkent region), and Namangan. Encouraged by the success of the tournament, the organizers plan to turn it into an annual event.

The International Football School Junior is the largest network of private schools in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States for children from 3 years old. To date, 345 schools in 180 cities have been founded.

Uzbekistan is the 10th country where a Junior school has been established. The school, which boasts a program developed by a team of world-class coaches based on methods of leading European countries for child development and education from the age of 3, actively promotes a love for sports and an active lifestyle. Not only the school Junior does train children but also arranges sports events. Every year on-site visits to international tournaments are carried out to Russia and Turkey, as well as the FC Barcelona training camp.

The participation of our students in such a major football tournament is undoubtedly a very valuable experience, motivation for further victories, and another success in the collection of school achievements. Our young footballers returned from the tournament with a strong determination for victory in the next year’s championship and bring the main trophy of the “League of Private Schools” to our school.
